So we had a minor breakthrough the other night with the little man. We had gone to Jason's softball game that night late and we got home at like 10:30. He was out, so I carefully put him in his swaddler and he was in his crib to for the tail end of his late night nap at maybe 10:45ish or so. When I went in there to feed him at midnight, not only had he completely houdinied out of his swaddle, he was sleeping sound as a pound. Usually when he gets out of that bad boy he is wide awake, so this was something new.
I decided to put him in his cute new romper outfit and put him back down after his midnight feeding to see if he would sleep through until 6 like he usually does. I was not disappointed...he slept his usual time and was awake and happy for his dad at 6 am the next morning. As yet this has not worked during the day but it is working at night so that's good.
In other news, Grammie and Papa are here and are going to watch Jackson so we can attend the wedding of our friends Kristen and Ed in Breckenridge. It will be our first night away from him, and I don't want to talk about that :)
Meanwhile...my friends have been popping out babies like it's their job! My college friends Kim and Ryan welcomed their son Quinn Geiler Davis on July 13, followed immediately by Brylin Hope Gomer, the daughter of Britt and Brad on July 14. Congrats you guys!!!
